I used a grid for the layout to give the two posters uniformity. I placed each fruit on a separate white background to suggest the fruits as individual snacks and the vegetables on a continuous white panel to represent the combining process in the cooking pot.

I created the images in a 1950s style using clean and bright flat colours and added minimal and eye-catching text.
